Film Bridge Boards Sales on Brenton Thwaites Faith-based Drama 'An Interview with God'

Brenton Thwaites and David Strathairn star in An Inteview with God

Film Bridge International has come on board to handle international rights for the faith-based drama An InterviewWith God starring Brenton Thwaites (Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales) and David Strathairn (Lincoln), for producers Fred Bernstein of Astute Films and Ken Aguado, who also scripted the project.

Perry Lang (Showtime’sWeeds) directs the movie about an up-and-coming journalist (Thwaites) who finds his world and faith increasingly challenged when he’s granted the interview of a lifetime – with someone who claims to be God (Strathairn).

Ellen S. Wander, CEO of Film Bridge, will be shopping the completed movie in Cannes next month and will show first footage ahead of the movie’s U.S. release this August via producers Astute Films. Executive producers include Rick Jackson and Paul Kurta. Co-producers are Dominique Telson, Harrison Powell, Lisa M. Jean, and Claudine Marrotte.

"Faith-based films are making an indelible impact in specialty box office. It is a space where we see great content and an expanding market that we don’t see in other areas of the business. We are excited to be a part of it and we plan to introduce more of these films to the international marketplace," said Wander.
